Kamusta! This is another Skin Care Series and it will be about a local product, it's the Eskinol Oil Control Pimple Fighting Facial Wash.
History 101: When I was in high school I had major acne problem maybe due to puberty or maybe because I used Pond's facial scrub to early but what ever the reason was, bottom line I had ACNE in high school which was totally not cool. And so, I stopped using Pond's facial scrub and when free sample was given in my school I tried it. And that was Eskinol. I tried to use it right after school and I liked it IMMEDIATELY! It was very mild and I believe it helped to cure my existing pimples back then. And so, from that day up to now, I've been using it. It has never been replaced in my skin care routine as my facial wash.
Tada! So this is my 'holy grail' facial wash. It lessens my chances of having break outs and if ever I have one, it helps on curing the zit. For me, it's an amazing product and I just can't find any facial wash that I can use as an alternative to this.
FYI: This one was repackaged. The old packaging was a white tube and that was just Derma clear-C but now I think it was reformulated and renamed to Pimple Fighting facial wash and the company added some tea tree oil to it which INMHO is good and personally, I like it for my skin.
I don't remember how much this is, but you can find it almost anywhere. You can find it at most drugstores here in the Philippines (e.g. Mercury drugstore and Watson's).
I've been using this product for seven (7) years now and I will continue to use it.
Thanks for reading! :) Paalam!
Holy Collective Haul! on Nature Republic Part 3
So Big Curling mascara. An OK mascara, I use this every day if I want just a clean look. I still like it though. |
Holy Collective Haul on Nature Republic part 2
Yey! This is the part two of my collective haul on Nature Republic. So let's start shall we? =)
The nail polish remover was called Fruits Waltz nail remover and it's scented, I got the one with an orange scent. Though it's scented you can still smell the scent of acetone. What makes it different from other nail polish remover are: It doesn't leave a white streak on to your nail and The colors that were removed stays only in the cotton ball and doesn't go any else where. But other than that you need a couple of cotton balls to remove your nail polishes on both hands. I'm just waiting for it to be finished so that I can buy a new one maybe from Etude House or from Tony Moly.
Lastly are the nail polishes which unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show you guys. But anyway, I got their Basecoat, a Beige color which was BE103, and another Beige color just in different finish which was PP404, it has a metallic finish. All three cost me P195 but if you are to buy them individually they are P65/bottle so it's kinda cheap :)
There's part 3 so uhm, for now, Bye!
Sorry, I was not able to take pictures of them individually. Only some of them. |
So this is the By Flower Oil Control Mist. I got this one first before my Dr. Oil Anti Shine mist from Etude House. This works as good as Dr. Oil in my opinion. And it smells nice. |

Holy, Collective Haul on Nature Republic
Kamusta kayo diyan! I realized that my post has been focused on Etude House, so now I'm going to do a Nature Republic one for a slight change. I was really planning to do a review by product but I realized that what I'm reviewing is a popular product already and there are some Korean line which has just started here in the Philippines that needs attention too. So now, I'm hauling on Nature Republic :)
When I first saw Nature Reublic, it was a day after my Mom's birthday and I was excited cause I thought this time, it's a Japanese line (I know, I suck :P) but I was wrong. It's another Korean line and I thought to my self, "Hmp! Korean again?" Then I did take a look and the first thing that caught my eye was the polishes.I couldn't help not to buy there honestly. The nail polishes' colors were so unique and their make up line as well. Here are some of the products I got from there:
So because I purchased their products they were generous enough to give me some free sample well just like what they do to their other customers. Haha!
So, that's the first Nature Republic Haul for you guys. Oh, BTW I got these items November of last year. :) Paalam!

Skin Care Series: Cleanser; Etude House Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam in Nut Mix
Hello again! So, now I'm going to review this cleansing foam from Etude House (again. haha!)
It has micro beads just enough to scrub the dead skin cells off of your face. The beads are mild, it's not painful when your rubbing it on your face, but it cleanses thoroughly. The SA actually told me that it can be used everyday but I prefer to use it twice every week.
What I like:
Oh, one more thing I like about this product is the packaging. It comes in a tube which in y opinion is very FLEXIBLE. Haha!
Till here! Stay tuned for my upcoming reviews... I have plenty to share :)

Skin Care Series: Cleanser; Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Mineral Water
Hello! So now, I'm here to talk about my first ever cleansing water which I totally LOVE. Yes, I really love this cleansing water and it is Etude House Pore Cleansing Mineral Water.
This cleansing water is great as an alternative to cleansing foam. It removes dirt and face make up but it doesn't do much on eye make up specially if it's a water proof one.
According to Etude House:
Rate: 5/5
So, that's it for now. If you go to Etude House try to check this one out :)
